Escrow on every order
Money releases only when the buyer confirms delivery.
1
The buyer pays
The money leaves the buyer and stops at Kidster. The seller can see it, but cannot touch it.
2
The seller ships
The seller buys their own postage, then enters the carrier and tracking number on the order. Both sides watch the same timeline from there — if no tracking is ever entered, the money stays in escrow and support settles it.
3
The buyer confirms
The buyer taps confirm — that's what moves the money for certain. There's also a scheduled sweep that checks every 15 minutes for a delivered order whose 72-hour window has run out and releases it automatically; if it doesn't reach yours for any reason, support steps in. Pickup is separate and stays separate: the handover code is the only proof a handover happened, so a pickup order is never released on a timer.
4
The seller is paid
The sale, the commission and the shipping cost are written to the ledger in one transaction, and the balance joins the next payout.
If something is wrong
Open a case from the order. Escrow stays held while support reads both sides, and the decision — refund, split, or release — is written to the ledger as its own row. Nothing is ever edited after the fact; a correction is a new entry.
